Your Spa Experience

Our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction. Below, we have put together a few helpful points of etiquette in answer to some frequently asked questions, and to enhance your journey into Samadhi or 'Infinite Bliss'! 

Book Spa treatments in advance

Prior reservation is required for all spa & wellness services. We highly recommend you book Spa treatments and any additional services in advance prior to your arrival. This will ensure time is allocated and avoid disappointment.

Treatment Choice

We recommend calling our reception and talking through your choices, so we can advise on the most effective treatments for you. Treatments are customized to individual need and may differ occasionally.

Some special health concerns may have to be taken into consideration when booking. To help you plan more effectively please feel free to mention any health concerns that might affect your treatment choices. Alternatively, these will only be noted at the time of filling in your health questionnaire before starting your treatment.

We have a beautiful dual treatment room offering a joint experience with most package options, to enjoy together as a couple, mother /daughter, and for friends.

Arrival

Your treatment has been especially reserved for you. We recommend day visitors arrive at least15 mins before your appointed treatment time. Our courtesy greeting service ushers all day visitors with confirmed day bookings directly to the retreat.  The more relaxed you are at the start of your service, the more rejuvenated you will feel afterward. At the Spa, our therapists will provide you with treatment robes & slippers.

For guests residing at the retreat, arrive showered, wearing your robe and slippers from your retreat. Samadhi 's receptionist will telephone to your private retreat at the time of your scheduled treatment time to see that you are ready, and to direct you through to the spa area. 

The guest retreat entrance to the spa is through your private courtyard 'Quan Yin' Garden.      A  serene and beautiful gateway to relaxing body and mind as a prelude to your treatment. Once you enter the spa, you will be warmly greeted by your spa therapist who will discuss your scheduled treatment with you.

To ensure your maximum health, safety and comfort we ask that you fill out a personal health history consultation form. This also allows our therapists to give you the most beneficial and personalized treatment.

Uniquely Yours

Health & wellness retreats have become a necessity in modern day life. Samadhi is the ultimate destination for that secluded getaway, in a completely private setting. The Day Spa facility is available exclusively for YOU during your allocated treatment time, which is what makes Samadhi unique compared to most other Day Spa's.

Attire

Maintaining your sense of comfort and dignity is of the utmost importance to us. At Samadhi we are trained to drape correctly to respect your comfort and privacy. Samadhi bath robe and slippers are provided for spa therapies.  During treatments, you may wear underwear if you prefer, otherwise disposable underwear is also available for all spa therapies. You may choose to bring bathes to use in the dual hydrotherapy spa.

We recommend removing jewellery and valuables, and securing them with your personal belongings. For yoga and meditation, loose comfortable clothing is recommended.

Health considerations

Please inform us of any health related issues you may have at the time of booking. Conditions we need to know about include (but are not limited to) things like: high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies, recent surgery and pregnancy. Clients who have cancer or any other serious medical concerns are advised to consult their doctor before making any bookings, and before using the spa’s facilities.

If you are unsure whether something might be important, please discuss this with our spa therapists so we can best accommodate your needs and assist in the appropriate choice of treatment. All information is treated as confidential and allows us to give you the best treatment possible.

Alcohol and/or drugs are contra-indicated, and not recommended prior, during, or directly after your treatment. Samadhi Retreat is strictly a non-smoking environment; you cannot smoke on the premises. We reserve the right to refuse treatment to any client not adhering to these guidelines.

Special Requirements

If you would like to arrange any special requirements during your stay at the Spa, please call. We can arrange flowers, lunch platters & light refreshments, and more.  We have even had a rose petal path from the spa to the treatment room with a live musician playing Harp (for the occasion of a private wedding proposal)!  We will do our utmost to accommodate you!

Can I purchase products to take home as a follow up to my treatment?

Yes, we offer a range of skin, body and bath products which can be purchased at the retreat. Our spa therapists are happy to advise you with follow up care so you can maintain the therapeutic benefits of your spa experience at home.

What if I want to treat a friend to a Samadhi Spa and Wellness retreat experience?

We offer beautiful gift vouchers to enable you to treat a friend or couple to this wonderful experience. Our gift vouchers are attractive and beautifully presented - a gift of a wellbeing experience, for which many just do not take the time.

What if I am late for my appointment, or want to change or cancel my appointment?

Arriving late will unfortunately limit the time allocated for your treatment; it will lessen the effectiveness and more importantly your pleasure and enjoyment. As a courtesy, all treatments are completed as scheduled. Out of consideration, we ask all guests to advise Samadhi Retreat with as much advance notice, of any changes or cancellations to scheduled appointments (see terms & conditions). Whilst we do our best to assist you with unforeseen circumstances, such as late arrival, we cannot guarantee that changes at short notice to appointments can be met. Late arrivals, no shows or cancellation of any component from the spa and wellness menu shall incur the full cost.

Your comfort  - Giving feedback.

It is through feedback that we can maintain our high standards. Although we do our best to anticipate your needs, we appreciate every spa experience is very individual. Please let us know if there is any way we can improve your treatment or level of comfort - for example, heavier or lighter massage pressure, an extra towel, altering sound or lighting levels, etc. We are committed to ongoing training to ensure our high standards are maintained.
